Posted September 13, 2018 10:55:25 A man in the United States says he was told he would need to install aluminum fence gates on his home after the new aluminum rods that were meant to be a replacement for the rods in his backyard failed.
But a friend says he did not need to put the new rods on the aluminum porch rails, and he has not had any problems with them.
The man, who is not named in the story, said the rods were installed as a temporary fix, and then they failed.
“They just don’t work,” said the friend, who requested anonymity because he did’t want to get his name in the news.
“I mean, what are you going to do with these things?”
The friend said he was initially concerned because the rods seemed to be falling apart on the porch, but after he installed the new fences on his property, he said he has no problems with the rods.
“These rods are going to work just fine,” he said.
The aluminum rods were sold at a $6,500 price point on eBay.
“It’s been a while since I’ve heard of a problem with these rods, and I’m not surprised,” the friend said.
“You just can’t tell from looking at them that they’re going to be an issue.
They’re not going to fail, and they’re not falling apart.”
The friend says they purchased the rods from a company called K2 Aluminum in San Diego.
K2 did not return a request for comment on Friday.
“The company claims to be the leading provider of aluminum products in the U.S.,” the friend wrote in an email.
“In reality, they are an accessory manufacturing company with the goal of providing the highest quality products at the lowest cost.”
He said he initially saw the aluminum rods in person when he saw them on eBay, but did not buy them because they seemed too expensive.
“After a couple of weeks, I decided I could do a better job with the rod, so I took the rods home and installed them,” the man wrote.
The aluminum rod, which measures 3.5 by 3.3 inches, comes with a stainless steel rod that attaches to the fence posts on the fence. “
That was a huge relief.”

“We’ve had no problems at all,” the neighbor said.
He added that the rods are not an issue with the aluminum fence, and the rods do not crack or rust.
“If you are using aluminum, you should always be careful with it, because it can become brittle,” the homeowner wrote.
